PLTR: Opportunity Knocked!
Opportunity Knocked! PLTR
PLTR (Palantir Technologies) followed the technical price path in reaction to Earnings that we discussed yesterday afternoon ahead of the post-market release.
Here is the text of my two updates yesterday, the first at 2:06 PM ET and the second at 4:26 PM ET:
If the technical setup into Earnings later today is hinting at a directional reaction to the report, PLTR is poised for a positive response that thrusts the stock through and above key nearest resistance from 133.50 to 139.00 that heads for a confrontation with the declining 200 DMA, now at 152.62... Last is 125.63... (2:06 PM ET)... Fast-forward to the after-market session, PLTR has produced a powerful Earnings report, beating on EPS and Revenues, and guiding much higher, which has goosed the stock from its 4 PM ET close at 125.92 to 137.80, now at 137.70 as we speak. My attached 4-Hour Chart shows the price structure bumping up against three-week resistance lodged between 137 and 139, which, if hurdled, will project a run that challenges the multi-month November 2025 to August 2026 resistance line in the vicinity of 146.50... Last is 138.15...
My attached 4-Hour Chart shows PLTR rocketed from its 4 PM ET close at 125.92 to this AM's spike high at 146.50 (+16%) in reaction to "blow-out" Earnings and CEO Karp's description of a software company separated from the pack because of its focus on products that preserve the data privacy of Palantir's clients.
PLTR initially ripped higher through resistance at 137-139, and then set its sights on a challenge of the dominant resistance line from the ATH at 222.00 (11/03/25) that cuts across the price axis in the vicinity of 146.50 late yesterday. So far, the multi-month resistance line has contained the post-Earnings advance.
That said, as long as any forthcoming weakness is contained above 139-140, the pattern carved out off the 6/26/26 corrective low at 106.26 will exhibit bullish form, and as such, after a brief period of digestion, PLTR should make another run at the resistance line, taking it out en route to 160-164... Last is 145.65...
